Blue Sky Audio returned to Symphony Woods, for our 11th year, to support Howard County's 16th Annual Wine In The Woods Festival featuring two days of wine, food, artisans, crafters and entertainment including the Rumba Club, Damon Foreman, The Junkyard Saints, The Unified Jazz Ensemble, Risa, King Teddy, David Bach, The Crawdaddies, The Reagan Years, The Bad Influence Band, Sarah Jones and Deb Callahan. 
   
Blue Sky supports the 1st Annual Pangaea Frederick: A Festival Celebrating the Heritage of Frederick, Maryland.  This very successful event featured ethnic and cultural food, entertainment, merchandise vendors and children's activities.  The event also provided an opportunity for a host of Frederick citizens to become brand new citizens of the United States of America.
   
Blue Sky Audio traveled to National Harbor, MD, the new gateway to the National Capital Region, in support of Sikorsky Aircraft's Salute to Army Aviators featuring the "Cowboy Up and Party Down" sounds of Richie Fields and Big Time Country.  The event was held at the brand new Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
   
Blue Sky Audio, once again, provided production support for Hagerstown's 2008 Cabin Fever Blues Bash featuring Gina Sicilia at the historic Maryland Theatre.  Gina had recently been nominated as "Best New Artist" in the Blues Foundation's 2008 Blues Music Awards.  Visit www.ginasicilia.com to learn more about this emerging talent from Philadelphia.
   
Blue Sky Audio heads to Ocean City, MD this winter to support corporate events at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel.
   
Viva Las Vegas!  This gala fundraising event, with event lighting and sound support provided by Blue Sky Audio, benefited the St. JohnÕs Parish Day School Scholarship Fund.  St. JohnÕs Parish Day School is a vibrant and nurturing Preschool and Lower School that educates preschool and elementary age children.  The Gala provides a portion of the financial aid budget each year.
   
Blue Sky Audio supports a workshop hosted by The University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism at the Washington, D.C./Rockville Hilton.  The workshop, entitled "The Secret Art of Manifestation", is a three day event focusing on the teachings of Ibrahim Jaffe, MD, DD, a master healer, teacher, and Ra'is al-Murabeen ar-Ruhyeen of the Shadhiliyya Sufi Order.
   
Jazz Night at McDaniel College is a bi-annual concert that typically encompasses several styles of music, from ballads to swing, Latin to fusion, and more.  Blue Sky Audio was on hand to support the event with audio and lighting production.  Under the direction of Bo Eckard, this very popular event is held at McDaniel's Decker Center Forum and is free and open to the public. Blue Sky provides event production, in Tyson's Corner, Virginia, for the Lord & Taylor Holiday Dress runway fashion show.
   
Blue Sky Audio to support Blu Vintage in their presentation of Convergence "Where Fashion and Entertainment Meet" featuring Soulful Poet Song Teller Rhonda Ross (daughter of Motown Music Legend, Diana Ross) in Concert featuring The Rodney Kendrick Quartet.  This one-night-only concert event takes place on Friday, November 30, 2007, at 8:00 p.m., at the Engineer's Club, in Baltimore, MD.  Tickets are $30, and $40 for VIP tickets which include premium reserved seating and a "Meet and Greet" reception with Rhonda Ross and Rodney Kendrick immediately following the concert at the Blu Vintage Boutique, 823 N. Charles Street.
   
Kris Kringle is coming to town on Friday, November 30, as the star of this yearÕs Kris Kringle Procession. Presented by Celebrate Frederick Inc., Blue Sky will be on hand to support the event which begins at 6:30 p.m. on East Street, in Frederick, and ends with the lighting of the City tree in Baker Park.
   
Filled with songs of the season, "Christmas from Dublin" with the Three Irish Tenors is full of warmth, charm and music, direct from the Emerald Isle.  Blue Sky Audio returns to Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts to support The Three Irish Tenors: Ciran Nagle from Riverdance The Show, Anthony Norton from La Scala Milan and Brian Dunphy from Riverdance The Show. Joining The Three Irish Tenors is an ensemble of musicians as well as special guests, The Three Irish Divas: Naoise Stuart-Kelly, Ellen McElroy, and Jacqueline Whelan, one of Ireland's most recognized female trios. The stage of Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts was alive with sound, memories and brilliant entertainers during the ÒJohn Denver Musical TributeÓ concert benefiting Maryland Therapeutic Riding. The artists included John DenverÕs talented former band members, songwriters and friends.  Having worked with this group for many years, Blue Sky Audio was on hand, once again, to provide production for this event.  For further information about Maryland Therapeutic Riding visit www.horsesthatheal.org.
   
Blue Sky Audio supported the City of Gaithersburg and the Kentlands Citizens Assembly's presentation of the 16th Annual Oktoberfest at the Kentlands featuring performances by the Alte Kameraden German Band and the Alt-Washingtonia Bavarian dancers on the main stage and Oh, Susannah! and the magical entertaining duo of Dave & Lindy on the family stage.
   
Blue Sky Audio provided production services to the City of Hagerstown for their annual Harvest Hoedown at Fairgrounds Park.  Fun for the entire family, the event included autumn activities and music, food and craft vendors.  The featured performers included the Country Showcase America Jamboree hosted by Frank Gosman.  Visit Frank and his Country Showcase America Jamboree at www.csajamboree.com
   
Mickey Hart Global Drum Project
Blue Sky Audio returned to Annapolis in support of Maryland Hall for the Creative Art's presentation of The GLOBAL DRUM PROJECT (formerly Planet Drum) reuniting Grateful Dead percussionist Mickey Hart, tabla master Zakir Hussain, talking drum ace Sikiru Adepoju and conguero master Giovanni Hidalgo for a celebration of the 15th anniversary of the ground-breaking album and tour "Planet Drum".  Released in 1991 on the Rykodisc label, the album received the first ever Grammy Award in the World Music category. This tour was the group's first in almost a decade. It also marked the resumption of an artistic relationship-between Mickey Hart and Zakir Hussain - that started back in the late 1960's.
   
Frederick In the Street Festival
Blue Sky Audio provides event production services for Celebrate Frederick's presentation of the 25th Anniversary of the city of Frederick's annual In The Street festival.  The event kicked off with a brand new event featuring beer, wine, food and a live performance by the Deanna Bogart Band.  The following day, Blue Sky provided production for performances on five stages and a deck party featuring music by the Freddie Long Band and the Reagan Years!
   
Middletown Heritage Festival
Blue Sky Audio supports the historic community of Middletown, MD in celebrating the Middletown Heritage Festival featuring the Blues Vultures, The Reagan Years, and bluegrass band Flint Hollow among others.
   
Virginia Wine Festival
Another successful event as Blue Sky Audio employs their Meyer Sound system at the Morven Park Equestrian Center, in Leesburg, Virginia.  The 32nd Annual Virginia Wine Festival, the granddaddy of all such wine festivals, proved to be a fantastic event for all involved.  Featuring great acts such as Cartoon Johnny, The Brimley Brothers, Bio Ritmo, Paul Curreri, The Grandsons featuring Jon Carroll and Saffire: The Uppity Blue Women, the crowds were treated to great music to go along with all the great wines represented at the festival.
   
Blue Sky Audio provides production for the 2nd Annual Frederick Church of The Brethren Picnic In The Park.
   
Blue Sky provides event production, in Columbia, Maryland, for the Lord & Taylor "Back To School" runway fashion show.
   
Blue Sky Audio returns to the City of Frederick to support the 2007 Baker Park Summer Concert Series. The concerts are hosted every Sunday from June 10th through August 26th, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and are free to the public with canned food item donations accepted at the information booth. Blue Sky Audio goes to the 62nd Annual Howard County Fair in support of Big Package and Almost Recess.
   
Blue Sky Audio provides a Meyer Sound system at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for the 62nd annual presentation of the Annapolis Rotary Club's annual fundraiser.  This event is billed as the "World's Largest Crab Feast" and also is the biggest summer event in Annapolis.
   
Blue Sky Audio provides production services for the powerhouse sounds of Blue Oyster Cult on the Main Stage at Frederick's 2007 4th of July Celebration -- the largest Independence Day Celebration in Frederick county.
   
Blue Sky Audio supports the celebration of Columbia, Maryland's 40th Birthday by providing production services for the Columbia City Fair's Main Stage.
   
Blue Sky Audio was selected to provided production services for one of Baltimore's most unique festivals, the 2007 HonFest. Billed as a celebration of all things "Bawlmer," the Honfest celebration pays homage to the neighborhoods, the language and the people of Baltimore. Located in the neighborhood of Hampden, over 30,000 people visit Honfest each year.
