ÒBig DaddyÓ lived and breathed the blues while growing up on a farm in Hobbsville, North Carolina, with his ten brothers and sisters. Music became a personal escape from a crowded world and the first song ÒBig DaddyÓ learned to play was ÒBig Boss ManÓ by Jimmy Reed. After migrating to Baltimore, MD, he continued to develop as a musician performing with local Jazz and R&B bands, all the while dreaming of recording his own blues project. ÒBig DaddyÕsÓ dream came true with his debut release ÒOne Night Lover,Ó featuring the single Ò4x4 WomanÓ which continues to generate sales and airplay worldwide, recently peaking at number one on Midnight Special Blues Radio in Paris, France. His Music reached international acclaim and can now be heard in Belgium, New Zealand and Poland. ÒBig DaddyÓ has shared the stage with Magic Slim, Hubert Sumlin, Michael Burks, Marva Wright, Mark Hummel and Candye Kane. He now plays with the Bluez Revolution Band and continues to mesmerize crowds with every performance. Blue Sky Audio supports Big Daddy Stallings' upcoming performance at the 2010 Frederick Summer Concert Series.
