Ethan Montgomery
Audio Engineer
Ethan Montgomery has had a passion for music since childhood, starting with piano lessons at age 5, and later learning cello, guitar, and bass guitar.  At 14, he landed his first professional gig playing bass in and around the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area and, since then, has continued to be involved in the entertainment and event production industries as both a musician and an audio engineer. After earning an Associate's degree at Howard Community College, in Columbia, MD and attending Virginia Tech's College of Engineering, he then attended the Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts. Graduating from Sheffield at the top of his class, Ethan began working with Jeff Byron, and quickly became a lead engineer and integral part of the Blue Sky Audio team. In addition to his work with Blue Sky Audio, Ethan is also the Chief Recording Engineer at Speakeasy Productions, Baltimore's leading voiceover production studio.

Bruce Abercrombie
Videography/AV Technician

Bruce Abercrombie became involved with Blue Sky Audio during the company's launch in 1993 where his AV experience has since proven to be extremely beneficial to the company.  Bruce's primary experience is in video production, which he discovered while attending Roanoke College, in Salem, Virginia.  However, his visual arts and photographic experiences started at a much earlier age having had the opportunity to accompany his late father, legendary National Geographic Magazine writer and photographer, Thomas J. Abercrombie, on sailing assignments where Bruce shot still pictures in The Fiji Islands, Long Island Sound and even behind the Iron Curtain.  Since that time, not many days have passed where Bruce has been without some sort of camera in his hands.  In 1985, Bruce Abercrombie Video Productions was formed to tape weddings, half-hour shows for local access, 30-second spots, and short films.  Bruce's services have also been employed by Comcast where he has worked to produce hundreds of episodes including Anne Arundel's Most Wanted, Mom's at Home, with Maryland's former first lady Kendell Ehrlick, Business Beat, Talkin' Sports and various football and basketball games of the week.  Highlights of Bruce's production company include Designing with Leigh Anne, Just off Main Street, Family Time and White Tiger, a documentary following the life of Thomas J. Abercrombie's 40 plus years of travel for National Geographic, in which Bruce was credited as the Director of Photography.  In addition to his work with Blue Sky, and with his production company, Bruce currently conducts operations for a public access channel and maintains a studio in Annapolis, MD.

Glenn Workman
Recording/Audio Engineer
Glenn Workman is a man of many hats.  A musician, a teacher, a software developer, tester and consultant, a midi consultant and programmer and, for Blue Sky Audio, a knowledgeable purveyor of all things related to sound and digital recording.  Glenn has been affiliated with the Blue Sky Audio team since 1998 and has worked with us to digitally document a plethora of events -- some of which have ended up being commercially released.  When Glenn is not on call as a teacher for the highly acclaimed Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts, playing music, editing still another audio/video production, or wearing one of his many other hats, he can often be found working with Blue Sky Audio recording an event, mixing monitors or assisting with event logistics.  Having worked with scores of clients including the Rolling Stones, The Baltimore Symphony, Kurzweil Music Systems and Mark of the Unicorn, among others, we consider Glenn's experience and his involvement with Blue Sky Audio to be an invaluable asset to the organization.

Linda Miller
Marketing/Publicist

Linda Miller has always loved music. She started organ lessons at age seven; guitar lessons at fifteen.  By seventeen, she was giving private guitar lessons and teaching at the local music store.  She also sang in chorus from the fifth grade through her senior year at Sweet Briar College, in Sweet Briar, VA, where she graduated with a B.A. degree in English Literature and a concentration of studies in Computer Science.  She has experience as a computer software instructor, a project planner and a helpdesk manager.  Her love for music, her desire to be enormously involved in the music and event production communities, and her penchant for wanting to be involved in bringing people and music together has lead her to Blue Sky Audio.  Since coming on board, Linda has worked hard at immersing herself in all aspects of the event production business.  As a result, aside from working in the front office offering world class service to our prospective clients, Linda can frequently be found working on-site providing logistical support to our current clientele.
